I am disappointed with Kiser. Ever since my child has attended this school, they have been bullied. I have spoken to the faculty, guidance counselors(which both either never returned my call or followed through with meeting my child), it was a waste of time. One of their teachers is the most rude I have ever met in my life. I've been told I'm a attentive and caring parent, that they appreciate. However, even with that it made no difference. There are 2 great teachers I like there. Overall, the 6 out of 10 rating is correct. Or more like 5 out of 10. I am grateful for the few good teachers, that I'm surprised are employed here. Other than that, Kiser can do better, and truly dare to be great. P.s do something about bullying, and treat every child with attention and care.

My grandson who is currently in the seventh grade at Kiser has had problems from day one. Kiser has not been a good source for educating my grandson. He has ask for help and the teachers pushes him to the side line. The reason I feel he is being push to the side is because he is African American male. I feel that the teachers should take an interest in children when they come to them for help. To this day no one has afford any assistance and my grandson grades are still declining. I would suggest you look at other area school first. Currently I am not please with the results we are getting from Kiser.

I am an Eighth grader at kiser and I have gone there since sixth grade. I love Kiser and have lots of friends there. The teachers are great and know just what we need I would recomend this school to anybody. There are rarely fights and I am never afraid of anyone when I go to school. I will miss Kiser when I leave but I can't stay in middle school forever.

I have a 7th grader at Kiser,I also had a 8th grader last year there, both of my children really enjoyed school. The teachers and principal, administrators have really impressed my family by making middle school such a positive experince for students. I really like the fact that the teachers will communicate with their concerns quickly instead of waiting.I highly recommend Kiser to anyone with a middle schooler

As a parent of an 8th grader at Kiser, I can sincerely say that my child has received a great education academically and socially. The SMOD that has been implemented has worked beautifully by creating a unified student body. The administration has set high standards regarding character, behavior and academics. The teachers are caring and continuously go over and beyond the 'call of duty' to make sure the students are prepared for their high school experience. Kiser Middle is a wonderful place for middle schoolers to grow.

This is my son's second year at Kiser - his in in the 7th grade. I have been very pleased with the staff, specifically the principal and the teachers. He has had a good expereince so far. They have a good SRO and a very supportive PTA. Most of the teachers I have interacted with seem glad to be there - that makes a great difference.

hey! i am an 8th grader at kiser middle school and i think it is pretty cool. The teachers have awesome methods of teaching. I love kiser but the one thing that could use improvement is the dress code. I mean, of course it stops bullying and things like that, but SMOD is really strict. for girls, your purse has to be white, green, gray, or yellow, and you have to wear socks in those same colors. With SMOD it is kind of hard to express your own personality. But one of the good things about it is that it challenges your imagination, it challenges the students to try and have a personality and look cool, without breaking the rules. So all in all, kiser is a great school! You would be crazy not to send your kid here!

Hi! I am actually a student at Kiser Middle School. I love coming to school everyday knowing that I am going to be safe. It is fun getting to change classes and no having the same people in every class. I think that a lot of the parents are going to want their children to come to our school because of our new Standard Mode Of Dress(SMOD). I wrote a review in our new school newspaper the Tiger Times. I think that our school is a lot different from any others. We really do not have 'popular' people at our school. Everyone has a group that they are friends with and most people do not make fun of them for being in a certain group. We are a great school and if you are thinking about your son or daughter coming here it would be a great choice. I think it is great!
